Every September we celebrate National Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders and celebrate those in recovery. Join us throughout the month, and for special events during Recovery Week.

The UA recovery tailgate is a sober event designated for students in recovery from addiction and allies of the sober community of Tuscaloosa. If you are in recovery or consider yourself a friend of the community, please join us for our kick-off football event in honor of National Recovery Month.

Wednesday, September 29 at 12 p.m. at the South Lawn Office Building (1101 Jackson Ave)
Come fellowship and celebrate National Recovery Month with the UA Collegiate Recovery Community. Lunch will be served as UA Collegiate Recovery members welcome friends, allies, and fellow recovering students to the Collegiate Recovery Community Center. Come hungry and wear purple!
